ABOUT

My name is Jennifer Wilson. I am a 43 year old woman who believes that you are never to old to learn something new. I have been to college for several different degrees. I believe that you should never stop learning if possible. I want to be a great example of this for my daughters. They have watched me attend college for most of their lives in the pursuit of growing my knowledge and skills in multiple different fields of study. I currently have my Cosmetology degree, Associates in Accounting, and a degree in Mortage Field Inspection Services.

I am currently attending Devry University for my degree in Graphic and Web Design. I previously started working toward this degree at another university in 2020. After completing a full year at that university, I received an email from them informing me that their school had lost their accreditation and they would be closing in only seven days. We had no warning this was happening and it left me and all of my classmates without another school that we could complete our degree. I was unable to locate another school that would take my credits for this degree until November of 2025. Devry University finally excepted my previous credits and now I am able to complete my degree. I have currently taked a leave of absence from my job in order to devote all my available time to completing the required classes to obtain this degree.

While I was trying to location another school to complete my Graphic and Web Design degree, I was able to start and complete the Medical Claims and Billing certificate program at Devry University. I completed this program in October of 2025. My graduation ceremony will be held in July of 2026. I am looking forward to attending this ceremony at the online commencement ceremony. While I am proud of myself for completing another degree, I still want to complete my Graphic and Web Design degree because it has become a passion of mine to create graphic designs and websites.
